Moving in certainly seems like it should be a lot easier than moving out - and it is; but parts of it may not be.  So you need to be prepared - especially for lots of work on moving-in day, if you want to have any control over what goes where (though some people do let movers unload before they arrive in the new location).

If you have lots of time to get settled in, that's delightful.  Maybe living amongst boxes for weeks would drive you crazy...  Either way, there are plenty of things to take care of - and you may like to read through some tips on moving in.
